Kenneth Van Headshot

Dr. Kenneth Van PT, DPT, CKTP, GTS, CEO/Founder

Ken has been a practicing physical therapist in NYC since 2007. He has treated individuals with diagnoses ranging from cervical neck pain, shoulder pathologies, knee injuries, back/hip pain, and foot/ankle disorders. His patients range from young teens to older adults, weekend warriors to professional athletes. In his practice he also works with patients to improve their health and overall wellness. His philosophy is to treat every patient as an individual providing a comprehensive plan of care specific for their condition. The goal is always to return a patient to an improved pain free functional level. Kenneth is originally from Macon, GA. He attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA receiving a B.S. degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology while also competing on the Emory Basketball and Track and Field team. Kenneth then attended graduate school at Creighton University in Omaha, NE, receiving a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. He spent time after graduation in Scottsdale, AZ working in an orthopedic and sports-based physical therapy company before moving to New York City. His interests outside of physical therapy include spending time with family and friends, learning new skills, and participating in recreational activities such as working out, playing basketball, tennis, and golf.

Ken has been a practicing physical therapist in NYC since 2007. Dr. Kristina Phu PT, DPT, GTS

Kristina Phu has been working as a licensed physical therapist in New York since 2017 in the outpatient orthopedics setting. She treats a variety of diagnoses ranging from the common neck and back pain, post surgical, sports injuries to women’s health. Alyssa Milazzo PT, DPT

Alyssa Milazzo has been practicing outpatient orthopedics in New York City since 2017. Originally from New Jersey, Alyssa completed both her bachelors and doctorate degree while studying at Ithaca College. Over her six years in Ithaca, Alyssa spent four years playing on the women's club volleyball team, and then coaching the team during her last two years of graduate school. Having worked in orthopedics since her graduation, Alyssa has been able to build upon her experience, treating a variety of sports-related injuries and conditions that range from common runner and throwing injuries to more extensive post-op rehabilitations. Her therapy approach encompasses the whole person, making sure they are fully prepared with all the tools they need to return to the activities and lifestyle they desire. Currently she is looking to continue enhancing her experience in the pregnancy/postpartum spectrum. When Alyssa is not at work, she loves reading, playing volleyball and exploring all this great city has to offer!

Alex has a history of practicing physical therapy in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Originally from Long Island, Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University and graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hunter College. Alex is no stranger to the rehabilitation process, as he has personally experienced injuries related to collegiate rugby, high school football and pick-up basketball. He’s used these experiences to connect with his patients on a personal level to ensure the delivery of the best quality care and get people back to the things that they enjoy doing. Alex provides care tailored to his patients, with careful attention to their needs in order to foster independence and empower his patients toward their return to activity and preventative management of their conditions. He has treated a range of individuals win different settings including athletes, geriatrics, sub-acute neurological rehabilitation and pediatrics. Alex has a special interest in treating jaw pain from TMJ dysfunction. Alex currently lives in Brooklyn with his wife and cat, Scout. He enjoys hiking, basketball, building computers, collecting trading cards, and reading fantasy books.

Brion Moss, Personal Trainer/Nutritionist

Brion has over ten years of experience in the fitness and food industries, holding a Master of Science in Nutrition from CUNY Lehman College. Additionally, he is certified in Sports Nutrition Specialist and Personal Training from the National Council of Strength and Fitness, possess a Food Handler license from the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, an Integrated Stretching Specialty from Annette Lang's education systems, and a Pain-Free Performance Specialist Certification from Dr. John Rusin. Currently, Brion is finishing his Dietetic Internship program at CUNY Hunter College and will become a Registered Dietitian by the summer of 2024. As a child, Brion struggled with being overweight and obese due to a lack of information and motivation to make healthier choices. Witnessing my family members battle their own health issues motivated him to make a change and embarked on a new path. His goal is to help you become the best version of yourself by utilizing nutrition, fitness, and culinary arts tools. I aim to provide you with evidence-based data to make well-informed decisions within your lifestyle, ensuring the highest quality of guidance.

James is a native New Yorker who obtained his Associates degree in Community Health Education from BMCC, completed courses in Nutrition and food science at Hunter College and is nearing completion of his Dietetics and Nutrition certification program at Queens College. James enjoys working out, bowling, painting, and volunteering his time coaching basketball.
